Scott Woodward (athletic Director)
Scott Woodward is currently the athletics director at Louisiana State University (LSU). Woodward was previously director of athletics at the University of Washington from 2008 to 2016 and at Texas A&M University from 2016 to 2019. Early life, education and career Woodward is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is a 1981 alumnus of Catholic High School (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), Catholic High School in Baton Rouge. 1997 LSU Tigers Football Team
The 1997 LSU Tigers football team represented Louisiana State University as a member of the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 1997 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by third-year head coach Gerry DiNardo, the Tigers compiled an overall record of 9–3 with a mark of 6–2, sharing the SEC's Western Division title Auburn. Louisiana State University Tiger Marching Band
The Louisiana State University Tiger Marching Band (also called the Golden Band from Tigerland or simply the Tiger Band) is the official marching band of Louisiana State University (LSU). The full band has 325 members, and performs at all LSU football home games, all bowl games made by the team, and one away game per year. The 100-110-member pep band, which makes up a portion of the marching band, performs at all away games except for the one where the full band performs. Mike The Tiger
Mike the Tiger is the mascot of Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and serves as the graphic image of LSU sports. Mike is the name of both the live and costumed mascots. By tradition the tiger is a live Bengal tiger, although the current mascot and his two immediate predecessors are mixed-breeds. Mike V was a Bengal-Indochinese mix, Mike VI was a Bengal-Siberian hybrid, and Mike VII is also a Bengal–Siberian mix. "Fight for LSU" is the official fight song of the LSU Tigers and Lady Tigers intercollegiate sports teams of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. History of the lyrics and score "Fight for LSU" was written by Castro Carazo in the 1940s. Jayden Daniels (born December 18, 2000) is an American professional American football, football quarterback for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). William Abb Cannon Sr. (August 2, 1937 – May 20, 2018) was an American football halfback and tight end who played in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL). He attended Louisiana State University (LSU), where he played college football as a halfback, return specialist, and safety for the LSU Tigers.
