LASALLE College of the Arts (informally LASALLE) is a publicly-funded post-secondary arts institution, planned to be a constituent college of the University of the Arts Singapore (UAS) by 2024 along with the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. Founded in 1984, LASALLE has eight art and design schools that offer more than 30 diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in contemporary arts and design education. LASALLE's bachelor's and master's degrees are validated by Goldsmiths College, University of London, one of the leading universities in the world for arts and humanities. University Of The Arts Singapore
The University of the Arts Singapore (UAS); (Standard Chinese: 新加坡艺术大学; ms, Universiti Seni Singapura; ta, சிங்கப்பூர் கலைப் பல்கலைக்கழகம்) is a publicly-funded private Collegiate university in Singapore. It is a federation of two local arts colleges: Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, and LASALLE College of the Arts. It was announced as a planned-university in 2021, and took its present name in 2022. Cynthia Delaney Suwito
Cynthia Delaney Suwito (born 1993) is an Indonesian artist currently based in Singapore. Her works often explore themes of time and daily rituals. She is most well known for her use of instant noodles as art material. Background Suwito was born in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1993. She graduated with a BA in Fine Arts with first-class honours from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore in 2016. She is currently residing and working in Singapore. Tay Bee Aye
Tay Bee Aye () is a multidisciplinary Singaporean contemporary artist known for her soft sculptures and interactive installations. She has done pioneering work in interactive contemporary art for children in Singapore, with her practice expanding to include community involvement. Boo Junfeng
Boo Junfeng (Chinese: 巫俊锋; pinyin: wū jùn fēng; born 4 December 1983) is a Singaporean filmmaker. Boo's films, Sandcastle (2010) and Apprentice (2016) have been screen at the Cannes Film Festival, beginning with his debut, Sandcastle, which was an International Critics' Week nominee. PHUNK (previously known as :phunk and Phunk Studio) is a Singapore-based contemporary art and design collective founded by Alvin Tan, Melvin Chee, Jackson Tan, and William Chan in 1994. Amanda Heng
Amanda Heng Liang Ngim (; born 1951) is a contemporary artist, curator and speaker from Singapore, who works in Singapore and internationally. As an artist she has a multidisciplinary practice, working collaboratively in contemporary art exhibitions, performance, forums, workshops and art interventions. Her practice explores themes of national identity, collective memory and social relationships, gender politics and other social issues in urban, contemporary Singaporean society.
