''L'ingiusta condanna'' is a 1952 Italian melodrama film co-written and directed by Giuseppe Masini. Plot We are in Maremma. A doctor who devotes himself to scientific research falls in love with Anna, the daughter of a chemist, who does not approve of the relationship. He is thus courted by other women, among which Barbara proves to be the most enterprising: meanwhile Anna gets engaged and the young doctor begins to suffer. When a malaria epidemic breaks out, the scientist is accused of not thinking about healing the locals to continue scientific experiments, undergoes a trial and ends up in prison. Rossano Brazzi
Rossano Brazzi (18 September 1916 – 24 December 1994) was an Italian actor. Biography Brazzi was born in Bologna, Italy, the son of Maria Ghedini and Adelmo Brazzi, an employee of the Rizzoli shoe factory. He was named after Rossano Veneto, where his father was stationed during his military service in World War I. Brazzi attended San Marco University in Florence, Italy, where he was raised from the age of four. He was a lawyer before becoming an actor and made his film debut in 1939. He moved to Hollywood in 1948 and was propelled to international fame with his role in the English-language film ''Three Coins in the Fountain (film), Three Coins in the Fountain'' (1954), followed by the leading male role in David Lean's ''Summertime (1955 film), Summertime'' (1955), opposite Katharine Hepburn. Mino Doro (6 May 1903 – 13 April 1992) was an Italian actor who appeared in more than a hundred films between 1932 and 1970. Doro generally played supporting and character roles. He appeared as a blackshirt in the 1934 Fascist propaganda film '' The Old Guard''. Amedeo Trilli (9 July 1906 – 30 November 1971) was an Italian film and television actor. Life and career Born in Ronciglione, Viterbo, at very young age Trilli worked as a circus artist, then in 1922 he studied performance at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia and later he started working on stage. Ubaldo Lay (14 April 1917 - 27 September 1984) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Life and career Born in Rome as Ubaldo Bussa, after graduating in law, Lay was admitted to the Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1939, from which he graduated with honors. He debuted on stage in 1945 and on films in 1946. Active on radio, in 1951 Lay moved to New York City where he hosted several radio programs for Italo-Americans audiences. Umberto Sacripante (2 October 1904 – 14 January 1975) was an Italian film and stage actor. Life and career Born Umberto Sacripanti in Rome, Sacripante debuted on stage in 1921, and in 1926 he became first actor in the theatrical company Teatro degli Indipendenti directed by Anton Giulio Bragaglia. He made his film debut in 1930, and in a short time he became one of the most active character actors of his time. Thanks to his good knowledge of German language, he was also often cast in German and Austrian productions.
