''L'Ère du Verseau'' () is the fourth studio album by French dance-pop band Yelle. It was released on 4 September 2020 by Recreation Center, the record label founded by the band. It is the band's first album since the release of ''Complètement fou'' six years prior. Background Yelle began writing ''L'Ère du Verseau'' in the spring of 2019. The band was in Montreal to record a song with Billboard, a music producer who previously collaborated with the band on ''Complètement fou''. Yelle
Yelle is a French band founded by lead singer and namesake Yelle (Julie Budet) and GrandMarnier (Jean-François Perrier). A third member, Tepr (Tanguy Destable), joined the band before the recording of their debut album. Yelle and GrandMarnier began working on music together in 2000. The band came to prominence when it posted an early version of the song "Je veux te voir" on MySpace in September 2005, which later reached the top five in France. The success of the song on MySpace attracted the attention of a record label, which set them to work on their debut album, ''Pop Up (album), Pop Up'', which was released in 2007. Anthony James Keith "Tony" Hymas (born 23 September 1943) is an English keyboard player, pianist, and composer. Career Hymas started as a chorister at Exeter Cathedral School, where his contemporaries included composer and cathedral organist Barry Ferguson, and singer and pianist Roger Cleverdon. After leaving school, Hymas studied piano with Harold Rubens at the Royal Academy of Music. As company pianist for the Ballet Rambert in its resurgent 'modern' form, Hymas wrote a substitute score for Glen Tetley's ''Rag Dances'' over the course of eight days. After his employment at Rambert, Hymas found work in the busy London session scene of the 1970s.
