Kütahya Porselen is a Turkish porcelain and ceramics manufacturer in the city of Kütahya. History The company was founded in 1970 though pottery has long been made in the region. As well as making pottery for sale to the retail and hotel trade in Turkey and abroad, Kütahya Porselen also operates 43 shops in Turkey and manufactures and installs factory equipment for other ceramic producers. Porcelain () is a ceramic material made by heating substances, generally including materials such as kaolinite, in a kiln to temperatures between . Kütahya () (historically, Cotyaeum or Kotyaion, Ancient Greek, Greek: Κοτύαιον) is a city in western Turkey which lies on the Porsuk River, Porsuk river, at 969 metres above sea level. NG Group ( tr, NG Grup) is a Turkish group of companies manufacturing porcelain located in Kütahya, Turkey. Employers of two companies of the group are women only. The NG Porselen, which elaborately decorates porcelain plates produced by Kütahya Porselen company, employs all women 102 personnel. In the NG Loji stik company, 135 personnel, all women, work.
