Kylotonn Société à responsabilité limitée, SARL is a French video game development studio founded in 2006 in Paris. They are best known for their racing games, and are the official developer of the ''World Rally Championship (video game series), World Rally Championship'' video game series since 2015. History 4X Studio was founded in 2002 as a subsidiary of 4X Technologies. After releasing only one game under that name, ''Iron Storm (2002 video game), Iron Storm'', they closed and later reformed by Roman Vincent and Yann Tambellini as Kylotonn in 2006. In 2012, Kylotonn developed the ''Play All'' technology with Wizarbox and Darkworks. in 2014, the studio launched the KT Racing label. In 2015, the company opened a facility in Lyon, Kylotonn Racing Games. In 2017, the company won the 2017 Ping Award for "Best Sports Game" for ''WRC 7''. Nacon
Nacon (formerly Bigben Interactive) is a French video game company based in Lesquin. It designs and distributes gaming accessories, and publishes and distributes video games for various platforms. In 2020 Bigben Group was consolidated to form Nacon. Bigben Interactive was established in 1981. History In 2001, the company reached an agreement with Sega to distribute the remaining stock of Sega's Dreamcast consoles, accessories and software across Europe. In December 2016, three years after Atari SA, Atari's initial bankruptcy sale, Atari sold the ''Test Drive'' franchise to Bigben Interactive. The ''V-Rally'' series was also sold to Bigben Interactive around this time without a formal announcement. ''World Rally Championship'' is a rally racing video game series. To date, three series of video games with the official license have been released. History The first series were published by Sony Computer Entertainment who owned the WRC license in the early 2000s. These titles were all made by British developer Evolution Studios between 2001 and 2005. The series consists of five original games released exclusively for the Sony PlayStation 2 console, and one port for the Sony handheld PSP, all based on the World Rally Championship seasons from 2001 to 2005, using official drivers, cars and locations. ''V-Rally 4'' is a racing video game developed by Kylotonn and published by Bigben Interactive for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch in 2018. The developer had previously worked on the official 2017 WRC game. Gameplay ''V-Rally 4'' is a racing game where players drive rally cars through a series of stages.
