Kyle Schweigert
Kyle Frederick "Bubba" Schweigert (born September 15, 1962) is an American football coach. He is the current head football coach at the University of North Dakota. From 2004 to 2007, Schweigert served as the head football coach at University of Minnesota Duluth. From 2008 to 2013 he was the defensive coordinator at Southern Illinois University. Early coaching career Schweigert started his coaching career at his alma mater, Jamestown College—now the University of Jamestown. He coached football at Jamestown from 1985 to 1988 and was admissions counselor and the head baseball coach. In 1989, he began 15 seasons as an assistant coach at the University of North Dakota (UND), where he was part of eight NCAA playoff teams and six North Central Conference (NCC) title squads. Rollie Greeno
Rolland Neale "Rollie" Greeno (July 8, 1926 – March 31, 2010) was an American college sports coach. He served as the head football coach at Jamestown College—now known as the University of Jamestown—in Jamestown, North Dakota from 1965 to 1991, compiling a record of 154–83–2. At Jamestown, he amassed 83 conference championships among the several sports he coached. Greeno was inducted into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Football Coaches Hall of Fame. 2015 North Dakota Fighting Hawks Football Team
The 2015 North Dakota Fighting Hawks football team represented the University of North Dakota during the 2015 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by second year head coach Bubba Schweigert and played their home games at the Alerus Center. The Fighting Hawks are a member of the Big Sky Conference. Although playing most of the season without an official mascot, 2015 was North Dakota's first year with their new nickname as it was announced on November 18 that the university had adopted the Fighting Hawks after a public vote of students, faculty, staff and other members of the University of North Dakota community. NCAA Division II Football Championship
The NCAA Division II Football Championship is an American college football tournament played annually to determine a champion at the NCAA Division II level. It was first held in 1973, as a single-elimination tournament with eight teams. The tournament field has subsequently been expanded three times; in 1988 it became 16 teams, in 2004 it became 24 teams, and in 2016 it became 28 teams.
