Kyle Good
Kyle Good (born 10 December 1991) is an Ireland men's field hockey international. He was a member of the Ireland team that won the bronze medal at the 2015 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship. He also represented Ireland at the 2016 Summer Olympics. At club level he has won Men's Irish Hockey League titles, the Irish Senior Cup and the EuroHockey Club Trophy with Monkstown. He also played for three clubs – Three Rock Rovers, KHC Dragons and Monkstown – in the Euro Hockey League. Early years, family and education Good received his early education at Rathmichael Parish National School. Between 2003 and 2010 he attended Wesley College where, in addition to field hockey, he also played rugby union and cricket and participated in track and field athletics. Shankill, Dublin
Shankill () is an outlying suburb of Dublin, Ireland, situated in the administrative area of Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown. Located in the southeast of the historic County Dublin, close to the border with County Wicklow, it has a population of 14,257 (2016 census). The Euro Hockey League 2015–16 is the ninth season of the Euro Hockey League, Europe's premier club field hockey tournament. Round One was held in Hamburg, the round of 16 and quarterfinals in Amstelveen and the Final four in Barcelona. Peter Caruth
Peter Caruth (born 4 June 1988) is an Ireland men's field hockey international. He was a member of the Ireland team that won the bronze medal at the 2015 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship. He also represented Ireland at the 2016 Summer Olympics. At club level he has won Men's Irish Hockey League titles and the EuroHockey Club Trophy with Monkstown and the Kirk Cup with Annadale. Graham Shaw (field Hockey)
Graham Shaw (born 1978) is a former Ireland men's field hockey international and the current coach of the New Zealand women's national field hockey team. Between 2002 and 2009 he made 151 appearances for Ireland and also represented them at the 2007 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship. As a coach he guided the Ireland women to the 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup final, winning the silver medal. As a player Shaw won Irish Senior Cup and EuroHockey Club Trophy titles with both Glenanne and Monkstown. On 9 May 2010 Shaw featured in two Irish Senior Cup finals on the same day, coaching Loreto to victory in the women's final before going onto play for Glenanne in the men's final. Stephen Alexander Martin (born 13 April 1959) is a former field hockey player from Northern Ireland who represented both Ireland and Great Britain at international level. Between 1980 and 1991 he made 135 senior appearances for Ireland. He also captained the Ireland team. He represented Ireland at the 1983, 1987 and 1991 EuroHockey Nations Championships and at the 1990 Men's Hockey World Cup. 2008–09 Euro Hockey League
The 2008–09 Euro Hockey League was the second season of the Euro Hockey League, Europe's premier club field hockey tournament organised by the EHF. The final was played between UHC Hamburg and Bloemendaal at the Hazelaarweg Stadion in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Bloemendaal beat UHC Hamburg, the defending champions, 5–4 to win their first Euro Hockey League title. Rotterdam took the bronze medal. Michael Darling (born 3 July 1988), also referred to as Mitch Darling, is a former Ireland men's field hockey international and Rio 2016 Olympian. Between 2006 and 2018 Darling made 183 appearances and scored 51 goals for Ireland. He was a member of the Ireland team that won the bronze medal at the 2015 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship. The Wallace High School is an 11–18 co-educational voluntary grammar school and sixth form in Lisburn, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. History It was founded in 1880 by a bequest from the estate of Sir Richard Wallace, local landowner, Unionist MP and philanthropist, and was originally named Lisburn Intermediate and University School. Stuart Loughrey (born 20 February 1991) is an Ireland men's field hockey international. He played for Ireland at the 2018 Men's Hockey World Cup. The All Ireland Schoolboys Hockey Championship is an annual competition involving the strongest schools affiliated to Hockey Ireland. The competition is held in the Autumn term of each school year.
