Kutta
Kutta is a small village in Ponnampet taluk of Kodagu, in Karnataka state of India. Location Kutta is the southern tip of Kodagu district. It is located at a distance of 86 kms from district headquarters, Madikeri and 32 kms from taluk headquarters, Ponnampet on SH-89 and 260 kms from state capital, Bengaluru. Geography Kutta is situated at an elevation of above MSL. The village is bounded by Coffee plantation and Paddy fields to the north, Brahmagiri Mountain Range to the west, Nagarahole to the east and Tholpetty wildlife Sanctuary of Wayanad district to the south. Brahmagiri (Karnataka)
Brahmagiri, is a mountain range in the Western Ghats of south India. It is situated on the border between Kodagu district in Karnataka state in the north and Wayanad district of Kerala state on the south . Brahmagiri Hill, at 1608 m height, is a scenic tourist attraction. The top of Brahmagiri Hill is well forested and has much wildlife. Kalpetta is a major town and municipality in the Wayanad district, state of Kerala, India. Kalpetta is the headquarters of Wayanad district, as well as the headquarters of Vythiri taluk. It is a bustling town surrounded by dense coffee and tea plantations and mountains. Mananthavady is a municipality and ''taluk'' in the Wayanad district of Kerala, India. Etymology The popular view on the etymology is that the word is derived from "Maane Eytha Vady" (English: "The place where an arrow was shot at the deer"). Iruppu Falls
The Irupu Falls (also Iruppu Falls) are located in the Brahmagiri (hill), Brahmagiri Range in the Kodagu district of Karnataka, India, bordering the Wayanad district of Kerala. It is a fresh water cascade and is situated at a distance of 48 km from Virajpet on the highway to Nagarhole. Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary
The Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Kodagu District, Karnataka State, India, within the Western Ghats and about 250 km from Bangalore. The sanctuary covers an area of about 181 km and derives its name from the highest point of the mountain range, Brahmigiri Peak. It was declared a sanctuary on June 5, 1974. Tadiandamol or Thadiyandamol is the highest mountain of Madikeri taluk Kodagu district, Karnataka, India. It is the third highest peak in Karnataka, after Mullayyanagiri & Kudremukha.
