Kushtia Medical College ( bn, কুষ্টিয়া মেডিকেল কলেজ) is a government medical school in Kushtia, Bangladesh, established in 2011. The college is affiliated with Sheikh Hasina Medical University as a constituent college. It offers a five-year MBBS degree programme and admits 65 students every year. The commencement of the academic activities started at the MATS, Kushtia temporarily. The permanent campus was started to build in the bank of canal beside the Kushtia-Dhaka Highway and opposite to the Housing #E Block. It is expected the academic and residential options could be supplant to the permanent campus in 2021. List Of Medical Colleges In Bangladesh
In Bangladesh, a medical school is known as a medical college. Allopathic and Alternative Medicine related medical education at the graduate level are provided by medical colleges. The colleges are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), and are affiliated with a university in the respective region. They however have to be recognized after meeting a set criterion by a central regulatory authority called Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC). 1986, all the medical colleges were established by the government.
