Kurt Vollers
Kurt Fredrick Vollers (born April 4, 1979 in San Gabriel, California) is a former American football offensive tackle in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame. Early years Vollers attended Servite High School, where he played as a defensive tackle. As a senior, he registered 79 tackles and 8 sacks, while earning USA Today honorable-mention All-American and All-state honors. He contributed to his team winning league titles in 1995 and 1996. He also practiced basketball, track and baseball. As a junior, he was the league champion in the discus throw and shot put. College career Vollers accepted a football scholarship from the University of Notre Dame. He was converted into an offensive guard as a freshman. Julius Andre Maurice Jones (born August 14, 1981) is a former American football running back. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He also played for the Seattle Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame. Early years Jones was born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. Jordan Black (American Football)
Brian Jordan Black (born January 28, 1980) is a former American football offensive tackle. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame. Black has also been a member of the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, and Washington Redskins. During Jordan's career in the NFL, he was elected as a Board of Player Representatives in the National Football League Players Association. Black is currently the head football coach for Fort Bend Christian Academy in Sugar Land, Texas. He brings extensive coaching and playing experience to FBCA. Special Teams
In American football, the specific role that a player takes on the field is referred to as their "position". Under the modern rules of American football, both teams are allowed 11 players on the field at one time and have "unlimited free substitutions", meaning that they may change any number of players during any "dead ball" situation. The shot put is a track and field event involving "putting" (throwing) a heavy spherical ball—the ''shot''—as far as possible. The shot put competition for men has been a part of the modern Olympics since their revival in 1896, and women's competition began in 1948.
