Kurt Palandech
Kurt Palandech (born November 11, 1994) is an American football quarterback for the Nojima Sagamihara Rise in the Japanese X-League. He also played for the Berlin Rebels in the German Football League (GFL). High school Palandech attended Plainfield North High School and was a three-sport athlete. He was selected to the All-Area Team for football and baseball. College Palandech spent his freshmen year redshirting at the University of North Dakota. After completing his redshirt year, he transferred to Laney College, in Oakland, California. In his only season with the Laney Eagles, Palandech threw for 1,634 passing yards and 17 touchdowns while also rushing for 390 yards and five touchdowns. From 2015 to 2017, Palandech played for the UNLV Rebels, throwing 1,489 passing yards and 14 touchdowns and rushing 728 yards with 9 touchdowns, averaging 5.0 yards per carry. Indoor Football League
The Indoor Football League (IFL) is a professional indoor American football league created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. It has one of the largest number of currently active teams among indoor football leagues. The league has operated continuously under the same name and corporate structure longer than any other current indoor football league. With the closure of the Arena Football League in 2019, the IFL is the oldest active professional indoor football league in North America. As of 2022 season, the league consists of 14 teams in two conferences with each team playing 16 games over 19 weeks. IFL players earn US$250–500 per game played, with a $25 bonus given to players on the winning team each week. Additionally, the teams provide housing for its players during the season.
