Kurt Barber
Kurt Barber (born January 5, 1969) is the former head coach for Paducah Tilghman High School's football team and a former linebacker for the USC Trojans and in the National Football League (NFL). High school career Barber prepped at Paducah Tilghman High School where he won the Kentucky "Mr. Football" Award in 1987. He was a high school All-American as both wide receiver and linebacker. College career Barber graduated with a BA in communications from the University of Southern California, where he was All-Pac-10 as a linebacker. He was a starter as a junior and senior and was a four-year letter winner. Professional career Barber was selected with the 42nd pick in the second round of the 1992 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, where he played until 1995. Jeff Brohm
Jeffrey Scott Brohm (born April 24, 1971) is an American football coach and former quarterback, who is the current head football coach of the Louisville Cardinals. Brohm played college football at the University of Louisville for coach Howard Schnellenberger from 1989 to 1993 and played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons from 1994 to 2000 and the XFL in 2001. He has previously served as the head coach of the Western Kentucky Hilltopppers (2014–2016) and the Purdue Boilermakers (2017–2022). Brohm was born in Louisville, Kentucky. The 1992 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 26–27, 1992, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season. The 1992 draft was notable because for the first time since 1958 one team, the Indianapolis Colts, held the first two overall picks, selecting defensive end Steve Emtman and then linebacker Quentin Coryatt. Neither made a major impact in the league, and the 1992 draft in retrospect is considered one of the worst in league history.
