Kunihiko Yuyama
is a Japanese director best known for his work on the ''Pokémon'' anime franchise. He also directed ''Magical Princess Minky Momo'', '' Leda: The Fantastic Adventure of Yohko'', ''The Three Musketeers Anime'', ''Ushio and Tora'', '' Kimagure Orange Road: Summer's Beginning'', ''Plawres Sanshiro'', ''Slayers Return'', ''Slayers Great'', and ''Wedding Peach''. Barbapapa
''Barbapapa'' is a 1970 children's picture book by the French-American couple Annette Tison and Talus Taylor, who lived in Paris, France. Barbapapa is both the title character and the name of his "species". The book was the first of a series of children's books originally written in French and later translated into over 30 languages. ''Barbe à papa'' – literally "Daddy's beard" – is French for cotton candy or candy floss. Background The inspiration for Barbapapa came by chance in the Luxembourg Garden in Paris one day in May 1970. Slow Step
is a romantic comedy boxing and softball manga by Mitsuru Adachi. is a 1980 Japanese super robot mecha anime series. A film with the same title was released on December 19, 1981. Production The anime television series was produced by Ashi Productions and Kokusai Eiga-sha with a feature film (with a strong environmental theme) distributed by Toei in 1981. While 39 episodes were intended, only 34 were ultimately finished, with 31 airing on TV. Some, but not all of the events that would have been in the final 5 episodes were compressed into the film.
