Kune Amini
Kunemo Rupa Amini (28 November 1964 – 29 September 2021) was a Papua New Guinean cricketer and captain of the women's national cricket team from 2006 to 2009. She captained PNG at the 2008 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier, the team's first international appearance. She was one of the team's leading batters. Amini's sons CJ and Chris Amini Christopher Ralai Amini is a Papua New Guinean cricketer. A right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler, he has played for the Papua New Guinea national cricket team since 2005. 2008 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier
The 2008 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier was an eight-team tournament held in South Africa in February 2008 to decide the final two qualifiers for the 2009 Women's Cricket World Cup. South Africa and Pakistan qualified, with the hosts beating Pakistan in the final. Pre-tournament The 2007 tournament was due to be played in Lahore, Pakistan in November 2007 but was postponed owing to the state of emergency in Pakistan, and subsequently shifted to South Africa, where was played in February 2008. The eight participating teams were divided into two groups. Group A featured South Africa, Bermuda, Papua New Guinea, Netherlands and Group B featured Ireland, Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Scotland. CJ Amini
Charles Jordan Alewa Amini, also known as CJ Amini, (born 14 April 1992) is a Papua New Guinea cricketer. He is the son of Kune Amini and brother of Chris Amini, who both have also represented PNG. Playing career Charles led Papua New Guinea's successful campaign in the ICC East Asia-Pacific Under-15 Cricket 8's in 2006/07. He was part of the squad in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Malaysia in 2008, and took eight wickets in the Qualifiers for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand in 2010. Amini made his Twenty20 level for Papua New Guinea in November 2013. In December 2013, he signed a rookie contract with the Sydney Sixers for the 2013–14 Big Bash League season.
