Kumi, Uganda
Kumi Town, commonly called Kumi, is a town in the Eastern Region of Uganda. It is the main municipal, administrative, and commercial center in Kumi District and is the site of the district headquarters. Flag Of Uganda
The flag of Uganda ( Ugandan Languages: ''Bendera ya Uganda'') was adopted on 9 October 1962, the date that Uganda became independent from the British Empire. Atutur General Hospital, also Atutur Hospital, is a government-owned hospital in the Eastern Region of Uganda. Location The hospital is located on the Tororo-Mbale-Soroti Road, in the community of Atutur, in Kumi District, in the Teso sub-region, in the Eastern Region of Uganda. Anne Atai Omoruto
Anne Deborah Atai Omoruto (22 November 1956 to 5 May 2016) was a Ugandan family physician, public health specialist, and academic. In 2014, she led a team of 12 Ugandan physicians as part of the World Health Organization's response to the Ebola outbreak in Liberia. Background and education She was born in Kumi District on November 22, 1956. She attended the Dr. S.N. Medical College, Jodhpur, in India, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. Later, she graduated from Makerere University School of Medicine with a Master of Medicine in internal medicine. Thomas Aisu
Thomas Ongodia Aisu (January 1, 1954 — October 16, 2018), was a Ugandan medical doctor, microbiologist, academic and academic administrator, who at the time of his death, served as an associate professor at the Soroti University School of Health Sciences. Background and education Thomas was born in ''Otipe Village'', Olungia Ward, in the Southern Division of Kumi Municipality. After attending local schools, he studied at Namilyango College, an all-boys boarding high school in Mukono District, where he completed his A-Level studies. Kumi University (KUMU), is a private University in Uganda. Location The main university campus is in "Nyero Parish", Nyero subcounty, Kumi District, in the Eastern Region of Uganda, approximately , by road, west of the town of Kumi.
