Kulotino, Novgorod Oblast
Kulotino (russian: Куло́тино) is an urban locality (a work settlement) in Okulovsky District of Novgorod Oblast, Russia,Law #559-OZ located on the Peretna River a few kilometers northeast of the town of Okulovka. Municipally, along with seventeen rural localities, it is incorporated as Kulotinskoye Urban Settlement in Okulovsky Municipal District, one of the three urban settlements in the district.Law #355-OZ Population: History In 1882, a textile factory was built, which was the foundation of Kulotino. The factory was located close to the '' selo'' of Polishchi. In the beginning of the 20th century, Kulotino was a village in Okulovskaya Volost of Krestetsky Uyezd (1918–1927 Malovishersky Uyezd) of Novgorod Governorate. On August 1, 1927, the uyezds were abolished and Kulotino was transferred to newly established Okulovsky District. Novgorod Oblast
Novgorod Oblast (russian: Новгоро́дская о́бласть, ''Novgorodskaya oblast'') is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). Its administrative center is the city of Veliky Novgorod. Some of the oldest Russian cities, including Veliky Novgorod and Staraya Russa, are located in the oblast. The historic monuments of Veliky Novgorod and surroundings have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Population: 634,111 ( 2010 Census). Krestetsky Uyezd (''Крестецкий уезд'') was one of the subdivisions of the Novgorod Governorate of the Russian Empire. It was situated in the southwestern part of the governorate. Nebolchi (russian: Неболчи) is an urban locality (a work settlement) in Lyubytinsky District of Novgorod Oblast, Russia. Municipally, it serves as the administrative center of Nebolchskoye Urban Settlement, one of the two urban settlements in the district. Population: History The area was first mentioned in 1564 as ''Yegoryevsky Pogost in Nebolchi''. In the 19th century, it belonged to Tikhvinsky Uyezd of Novgorod Governorate. In the beginning of the 20th century, there was no settlement, and the current area of Nebolchi was covered by woods. The settlement of Nebolchi was founded in 1916 when the railway station was opened. In 1918, Tikhvinsky Uyezd, including Nebolzhi, was transferred to the newly established Cherepovets Governorate.
