The Kulik River is a trans-boundary river that flows through the Indian states of West Bengal and Bihar, and Bangladesh. In 2017, the river flooded resulting in the death of three people. The river has shrank due illegal dumping of waste and grabbing of land by the river. Kankai River
The Kankai River ( ne, कन्काई नदी, also referred to as Kankai Mai or Mai Khola) is a trans-boundary river flowing through the hills of Ilam and the plains of the Jhapa District in Nepal. A holy river for many Hindus living nearby, the Kotihom river bank is a common site for death rituals. Uttar Dinajpur () is a district of the Indian state of West Bengal.
