''Kuheli'' (''Bengali'': কুহেলী) is a 1971 Bengali suspense thriller movie directed by Tarun Majumdar. The film stars Biswajit Chatterjee, Chhaya Devi, Sumita Sanyal Ajitesh Bandopadhyay, Satya Bandyopadhyay, Shekhar Chatterjee, Utpal Dutt, Sandhya Roy, Debashree Roy, Rabi Ghosh and Subhendu Chatterjee. Tarun Majumdar
Tarun Majumdar (or Mazumdar, 22 September 1931 – 4 July 2022) was an Indian film director and Screenwriter who is known for his work in Bengali cinema. He received four National Awards, seven BFJA Awards, five Filmfare Awards and an Anandalok Award. In 1990, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award. He alongside Sachin Mukherji and Dilip Mukherji made his directorial debut, under the screen name Yatrik, with the 1959 Bengali film '' Chaowa Pawa'' starring Suchitra Sen and Uttam Kumar as the leads. He received his first National Award for the 1962 Bengali film ''Kancher Swarga''. Kazi Sabyasachi
Kazi Sabyasachi (died in ) was a Bengali elocutionist. He was the eldest surviving son of one of the most prolific Bengali poets of the 20th century Kazi Nazrul Islam. Sabyasachi came to fame in the 1960s and '70s as a reciter. In 1966, he became the first to record the recitation of ''Bidrohi (poem), Bidrohi'', a poem by Kazi Nazrul Islam. Utpal Dutta () (29 March 1929 – 19 August 1993) was an Indian actor, director, and writer-playwright. Subhendu Chatterjee
Shubhendu Chatterjee, M.B.B.S. (29 November 1936 – 5 July 2007) was an Indian physician and actor, who is known for acting in Bengali television and films. A contemporary of actors Uttam Kumar and Soumitra Chatterjee, with whom he played second hero in many films, Dr. Chatterjee with age had graduated into character roles. Personal life His father was Shailendra Chattopadhay and mother was Manimala Devi. In 1953, he was admitted into Calcutta Medical College. In 1960, he completed his M.B.B.S. and became a physician.
