Kuami Eugene
Eugene Kwame Marfo (born 1 February 1997), who goes by the stage name Kuami Eugene is a Ghanaian High-life and Afrobeat singer-songwriter. He is signed to Lynx Entertainment, and is known for several songs, including "Angela", "Wish Me Well", "Ohemaa" and many others. He won the New Artist awards in 2018 from the Ghana Music Awards and the Ghana Music Awards UK. He also received the Most Promising Artist in Africa award from AFRIMA. In 2019, Kwame Eugene received 7 nominations at the Ghana Music Awards and went on to win the awards for Album of the Year, Producer of the Year and Highlife Artist of the Year. Akim Oda
Akim Oda is a town in the Eastern Region of south Ghana and is the capital of the Birim Central Municipal District and the traditional capital of Akyem Kotoku. In 2013, Akim Oda had a settlement population of 60,604 people. Geography and climate Akim Oda lies in hilly country of south Ghana with rain forest vegetation in the Birim River basin. MTN Hitmaker
MTN Hitmaker is a television music competition created by MTN Ghana in 2011. The show is available to all amateur musicians living in Ghana or who are habitually residing in Ghana. Since its inception in 2012, the competition has fostered and injected several music talents into the public. Some of these artists include Kwame Eugene, Kidi, Fameye and Mr Drew. Format Auditions Every year's competition begins with a series of audition stages, the first of which, termed "Scouting," is guided by some of Ghana's beatmakers who are experienced in all music genre. Diana Antwi Hamilton is a Ghanaian gospel musician with several awards to her name. She won the 2021 Most Streamed Female Act of the Year Award at the 3Music Women's Brunch. Martin King Arthur (born 15 April 1990) popularly known as Kofi Kinaata is a Ghanaian musician and songwriter from Takoradi. He is noted for his Fante rap and freestyle and therefore known as the Fante Rap God (FRG). Apart from his rap prowess, he has grown into a very good singer taking the highlife genre by storm. Samuel Adu Frimpong (born 4 April 1994), popularly known as Medikal, is a Ghanaian hip hop musician born to Portia Lamptey and James Frimpong in Sowutuom, a suburb of Accra. Dan Amakye Dede (born 5 January 1958) is a Ghanaian musician. He is one of Ghana's premier high-life artists popularly referred to as "Iron Boy", "the high-life maestro" and "Abrantie" (). Amakye Dede was born in Agogo, Asante Akim. He attended Agogo Roman School. He is best known for classic songs such as: "Jealousy go shame", "Dabi Dabi Ebeye Yie", "Akwadaa Wesoa", and "Iron Boy."
