Kuala Lumpur Major
The Kuala Lumpur Major was a ''Dota 2'' tournament, as part of the 2018–2019 Dota Pro Circuit season. The event was held from 9–18 November 2018 hosted at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur. 16 teams are involved, of which 15 came through qualifying competitions. Three teams each from Europe, China, and North America and two teams each from CIS, Southeast Asia, and South America. Tigers won DreamLeague Season 10, earned an invite as a Minor champion. Dota 2
''Dota 2'' is a 2013 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game by Valve. The game is a sequel to ''Defense of the Ancients'' (''DotA''), a community-created mod for Blizzard Entertainment's '' Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.'' ''Dota 2'' is played in matches between two teams of five players, with each team occupying and defending their own separate base on the map. Each of the ten players independently controls a powerful character known as a "hero" that all have unique abilities and differing styles of play. During a match players collect experience points and items for their heroes to successfully defeat the opposing team's heroes in player versus player combat. Double-elimination Tournament
A double-elimination tournament is a type of elimination tournament competition in which a participant ceases to be eligible to win the tournament's championship upon having lost ''two'' games or matches. It stands in contrast to a single-elimination tournament, in which only ''one'' defeat results in elimination. Alliance is a professional gaming and esports organization based in Sweden that was formed in April 2013.
