Kuai Kuai Culture
Kuai Kuai culture (or Guai Guai culture) is a phenomenon in Taiwan wherein people put snacks of the brand ''Kuai Kuai'' () next to or on top of machines. People who do this believe that, because the name of the snack—"Kuai Kuai"—stands for "obedient" or "well-behaved," it will make a device function without errors. As such, it can be commonly found in myriad places of work in Taiwanese society. A rigid set of best practices has arisen surrounding the proper use of Kuai Kuai snacks, such as using green bags only, and ensuring the snacks are not expired. Cultural influence was established in 1968. The company produces mainly cookies and Puffcorn, puff corn snacks; among these is a line of puff corn snacks bearing the company's name. Kuai Kuai is a puff corn product. The practice of adorning machines with the snack was documented as early as 2008. Europa-Park
Europa-Park is the largest theme park in Germany, and the second most popular theme park in Europe, after Disneyland Paris. Europa-Park is located in Rust, south-western Germany, between Freiburg im Breisgau and Strasbourg (in neighbouring France). The park is home to 13 roller coasters, the oldest, which opened in 1984, is the Alpenexpress Enzian, which is a powered coaster that speeds through a diamond mine. Europa-Park has very high capacity roller coasters and attractions, meaning the park can accommodate approximately 60,000 guests per day. The park counted 5.75 million visitors in 2019. SET News
SET News (SETN; ) is a 24-hour news channel of the Sanlih E-Television in Taiwan, launched in March 1998. SET News and sister channel SET iNews are considered media outlets leaning towards the Pan-Green coalition. SET News is available on YouTube with its Digital on-screen graphic, DOG reading ''Sanlih LIVE Hsinwen'' (). Since April 2022, this stream is available only outside Taiwan, a move also made by competitors EBC News and TVBS apparently because of dissatisfaction of the cable operators; SET replaced it with a non-geoblocked stream of sister channel SET iNews labeled as ''Sanlih+'' (三立+). The ''Liberty Times'' is a national newspaper published in Taiwan. It has a 300-strong employee base, and overseas branches in some 30 countries. TVBS Media Inc. (), formerly Liann Yee Production Co., Ltd. (), is a Taiwanese commercial television broadcasting company. It was originally established as a joint venture between TVB in Hong Kong and Era Group in Taiwan, but TVB took over Era's shares in the company in 2005. Later, TVB sold all of its shares in the company to HTC Corporation Chairwoman Cher Wang. ''United Daily News'' (UDN; ) is a newspaper published in Taiwan. It is considered to support the pan-Blue Coalition in its editorials. History UDN was founded in 1951 by Wang Tiwu as a merger of three newspapers, ''Popular Daily'' (全民日報), ''National'' (民族報), and the ''Economic Times'' (經濟時報). Formosa Television
Formosa Television () is a television station based in New Taipei, Taiwan. Established on March 27, 1996, FTV began broadcasting on June 11, 1997. Formosa Television is also the first free-to-air television station which was established without direct relationship with any political party and department of Taiwan government. Because of the location of its headquarters, which is in an area where Taiwanese Hokkien speakers are populous, it also earned the reputation for being the first station in Taiwan to use that tongue in a majority of its programs, especially on its prime time newscasts.
