Krzysztof Wójcik (volleyball)
Krzysztof Wójcik (born October 20, 1960, in Żagań, Poland) is a retired Polish volleyball player. He played as receiver and also as a libero at the end of his career. He played for many seasons as a basic player in AZS PWSZ Nysa sports club. He ended his career in 2005/06 season as player of Chemik Bydgoszcz. After ending his career as a player he soon became coach of men volleyball. Żagań
Żagań ( French and german: Sagan, hsb, Zahań, la, Saganum) is a town in western Poland, on the Bóbr river, with 25,731 inhabitants (2019). The town is the capital of Żagań County in the historic region of Silesia. Previously in the Zielona Góra Voivodeship (1975–1998), Żagań has been in the Lubusz Voivodeship since 1999. FIVB World League
The FIVB Volleyball World League was an annual international men's volleyball competition. Created in 1990, it was the longest and richest of all the international events organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The women's version of the competition was called FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the World Championship, the World Cup and the World Grand Champions Cup. The PlusLiga is the highest level of men's volleyball in Poland, a professional league competition featuring volleyball clubs located in this country. It is overseen by Polska Liga Siatkówki SA (PLS SA). It is currently a 16 teams league from October to April/May.
