Kruttika Susarla
Kruttika Susarla is an Indian comic maker, illustrator and graphic designer, from Andhra Pradesh, India. Her works have been described as observations of the status quo, and versatile in style, ranging from the use of minimalistic graphics to detailed sketches, and have become known for highlighting social causes including those of feminism, gender issues, LGBTQ issues, and issues of other marginalised sections of society. Susarla graduated from the DJ Academy of Design in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and has been involved in a number of collaborations including those with organisations such as the Mumbai based Point of View and the YP Foundation. Comic Book
A comic book, also called comicbook, comic magazine or (in the United Kingdom and Ireland) simply comic, is a publication that consists of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Panels are often accompanied by descriptive prose and written narrative, usually, dialogue contained in word balloons emblematic of the comics art form. Female (symbol: ♀) is the sex of an organism that produces the large non-motile ova (egg cells), the type of gamete (sex cell) that fuses with the male gamete during sexual reproduction. The Caravan
''The Caravan'' is an Indian English-language, long-form narrative journalism magazine covering politics and culture. History In 1940, Vishwa Nath launched ''Caravan'' as the first magazine from the Delhi Press; it went on to establish itself as a leading monthly for the elites but closed in 1988. It was again revived in 2009 by Anant Nath, the grand son of Vishwa Nath; Nath was deeply impressed by publications like The Atlantic, Mother Jones etc. during his graduation from Columbia University and sought for ''The Caravan'' to be a home for S. Samhita Arni is an Indian writer who writes in English. She is best known for her adaptations of Indian epic poetry. She started writing and illustrating her first book The ''Mahabharatha - A Child’s View'' at the age of eight. The book then went on to be translated in seven languages and sold 50,000 copies worldwide. Her second book – ''Sita’s Ramayana'' – was on the New York Times Bestseller list for Graphic Novels for two weeks in 2011.
