Anine Susanne Kruse Skatrud (born 1 November 1977 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian musician and choral conductor, the daughter of Professor of Music Gro Shetelig and the composer Bjørn Kruse, sister of actress and singers Jannike and Benedikte Kruse, and married to trombonist and bandleader Even Skatrud Andersen. Career Kruse studied music at Foss videregående skole before she attended the Norwegian Academy of Music. Here she got her diploma as choral conductor and singer, and after ten years of studies and as lecturer at the Academy, she soon (2014) get her master's degree in Conducting. Together with her sister Benedikte Kruse, Anja Eline Skybakmoen, Ane Carmen Roggen and Ida Roggen, Kruse comprices the vocal group Pitsj. August Von Kruse
Major-General August von Kruse (1779 in Wiesbaden, Nassau (modern-day Germany) – January 1848), was a general in the army of the Duke of Nassau during the Napoleonic Wars and an experimental farmer in his retirement. von Kruse organized the military of the state of Nassau during the Napoleonic Wars, and participated in the lengthy French campaign in the Iberian Peninsula; under secret orders from his Duke, he switched sides in 1814, and fought against the French in northern Europe. He commanded the Nassau infantry brigade at the Battle of Waterloo. In his retirement, he experimented in new farming and cattle breeding techniques on a small acreage given to him by the Duke of Nassau, exploring the problems in raising healthy cattle. Louis Frederik Vinding Kruse (1880–1963) was a Danish jurist. From 1914 to 1950 he was a professor at the school formerly known as '' Rets- og Statsvidenskabelige Fakultet'' (Jurisprudence and Political Science Faculty) (today known as the '' Juridiske Fakultet'', or Legal Faculty) of the University of Copenhagen. Käthe Kruse
Käthe Kruse, born Katharina Simon (17 September 1883, in Dąbrowa, Opole County, Dambrau – 19 July 1968, in Murnau am Staffelsee) was a notable pioneer of German doll-making and went on to establish manufacturing principles which persist to this day. Her original dolls remain very collectible due to their realism and durability, and fetch high prices from collectors. Life She was the love child of Breslau's Chief Accountant, Robert Rogaske, and seamstress Christiane Simon and grew up in very modest circumstances, even though her father did continue to visit and provide some support. Sigrid Maria Kruse (2 September 1867 – 19 September 1950) was a Swedish educator, children's writer and suffragist. In addition to her teaching activities in Karlskrona, she strongly supported the suffrage movement, contributing articles to magazines, publishing brochures and speaking at meetings. In 1904, she established a local suffrage association and took part in the important Stockholm meeting on suffrage in 1909. Esmond Gerald "Tom" Kruse MBE (28 August 1914 – 30 June 2011) was a mail carrier on the Birdsville Track in the border area between South Australia and Queensland. He became known nationally as the result of John Heyer's 1954 film ''The Back of Beyond''. He was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 1955 New Year Honours, "for services to the community in the outback". Early life Kruse was born at Waterloo in South Australia to Harry (Heinrich) and Ida Kruse. He was the tenth of their twelve children. He left school when he was 14 years old, and worked as a casual labourer on local farms. However, due to the Depression, he "went 'bush'" around 1934 to work in John Penna's haulage business which ran out of Yunta in the mid-north of South Australia.
