''Kroonjuwelen - Hard Times, Good Times, Better Times'' ( en, Crown jewels) is a 2006 documentary film produced and directed by independent Dutch film crew Stunned Film. This film premiered 11 October 2006 at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. The film is entirely spoken in Dutch, but English subtitles are shown. On Saturday, 14 October 2006 the film premiered on national television, when it was broadcast by MTV Netherlands. The film continues to receive screenings at film festivals around the World, such as at the Tate Modern in London, U.K. at the Street Art Exposition in 2008. Synopsis In the 2006 documentary "Kroonjuwelen" is a production of Stunned Film. A collective of designers, multimedia developers and filmmakers headed by Ivo Boerdam. Sven Westendorp
Sven Westendorp, "HIGH" (December 22, 1969 — August 17, 2011) was a criminal, graffiti artist, and designer from Amsterdam, Netherlands. Since his early years as a graffiti writer in the 1980s Sven was tagging the name "HIGH" helping to pioneer the movement in the Netherlands. He was a well known supporter of the association football club AFC Ajax, and a member of the hooligan firm F-side. He is also the creator of the A.F.C.A clothing brand. Biography Born in Amsterdam, Sven Westendorp got involved with hooliganism and graffiti in the mid 1980s when he started tagging the name "HIGH" together with "C.B.S." crew, which stands for ''Criminal Bombing Squad'' or ''Can't Be Stopped'' in the tunnels, on trains and on walls around the city. TopNotch is a Dutch record label specializing in hip-hop. The label was founded in 1995, and is run by Vincent Patty. After some commercial success (with rap acts such as De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, The Opposites, Def Rhymz, Postmen, and Extince) it became allied with Virgin EMI Records, and since 2004 has a marketing and distribution deal with PIAS Entertainment Group. It has expanded into Dutch-language music by singer-songwriters such as Lucky Fonz III, and in 2009 signed a distribution and marketing agreement with Universal Music Group.
