Kristof Vandewalle
Kristof Vandewalle (born 5 April 1985) is a Belgian former professional road cyclist, who rode professionally between 2008 and 2015 for the , and teams. While a member of the squad, he won two successive World Team Time Trial Championships and two consecutive Belgian National Time Trial Championships. In the 2014 season, Vandewalle was riding for , after three seasons with and its precursor . His first victory in the team's colours was a third national time trial championships in May 2014, in Hooglede. 2015 Brabantse Pijl
The 2015 Brabantse Pijl was the 55th edition of the Brabantse Pijl road cycling race. Held on 15 April 2015, it started in Leuven and ended later in Overijse. It was a 1.HC-ranked race that was part of the 2015 UCI Europe Tour. The main difficulty in the race was caused by 26 climbs, as well as twisting roads in the final part of the route. The race was won from the breakaway by Ben Hermans (). A group of fourteen riders finished two seconds behind, with Michael Matthews () second and the defending champion Philippe Gilbert () third. Hooglede (; vls, Ooglee) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of and Hooglede proper.
