Unisex is an adjective indicating something is not sex-specific, i.e. is suitable for any type of sex. The term can also mean gender-blindness or gender neutrality. The term 'unisex' was coined as a neologism in the 1960s and was used fairly informally. The combining prefix ''uni-'' is from Latin ''unus'', meaning ''one'' or ''single''. She represented the USA on four occasions, winning gold in Women's Singles at the 2005 Pan American Championships. Kristen Barbara (born October 30, 1992) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman, last played for the Metropolitan Riveters in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). Kristen Elizabeth Babb-Sprague (born July 29, 1968) is an American former synchronized swimmer. Babb-Sprague was awarded a gold medal in the women's solo event at the 1992 Summer Olympics after a scoring scandal. In the technical figures routine, a Brazilian judge accidentally entered a score of 8.7 instead of 9.7 for the Canadian swimmer Sylvie Fréchette, allowing Babb-Sprague to win the competition.
