Kristine Gjelsten Haugen
Kristine Gjelsten Haugen (born 24 August 1992) is a retired Norwegian alpine skier. She competed at the 2009 Junior World Championships, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Junior World Championships with a fourth place at best, in the giant slalom in 2012. She made her FIS Alpine Ski World Cup debut in December 2016 in Semmering, collecting her first World Cup points with a 26th-place finish in January 2017 in Flachau. She broke both the top-20 and the top-10 at the same time with a 10th-place finish in October 2018 in Sölden. The same season she competed at the 2019 World Championships, managing a 29th place in the slalom. Her last race was a fifth place in slalom at the Norwegian Championships in March 2019. Lommedalen
Lommedalen is a rural community in a small valley in Bærum municipality in the county of Akershus, Norway. The population is about 3,000 people. Lommedalen valley opens up at Bærums Verk and runs about 5 kilometers to the north. Lommedalen includes wooded areas, some agricultural land, and residential zones. It includes parts of the forest area Krokskogen. The river Lomma runs through the valley. A forest road from Lommedalen goes to Hole in Buskerud. The pilgrim road to Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim passed through Lommedalen in medieval times and was resurrected in celebration of the 1000th anniversary of Trondheim in 1997. Bjørn Rune Gjelsten (born 17 September 1956 in Tomrefjord) is a Norwegian businessman and Offshore powerboat racing World Champion. He was also a joint owner of Wimbledon Football Club and involved in the controversial relocation of the team from London to Milton Keynes. Offshore powerboat racing career Gjelsten made his powerboat racing debut in 1994 in the U.S., winning his first race in Jacksonville with throttleman Jim Dyke. Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen (born 29 November 1987) is a Norwegian World Cup alpine ski racer, specializing in the technical events of giant slalom and slalom. Haugen made his World Cup debut in October 2009 in Sölden, and collected his first World Cup points with a 26th place. He won a bronze medal in giant slalom at the World Championships in 2017 and attained his first World Cup podium in March 2017 at Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. Nestvold-Haugen represents the sports club Lommedalens IL, and hails from Lommedalen.
