Kristin Mile
Kristin Mile (born 11 April 1956) is a Norwegian lawyer, civil servant and former secretary-general of the Norwegian Humanist Association. She graduated as cand.jur. in 1983 and worked for the Directorate of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority and the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration before being hired by the Norwegian Gender Equality Ombud in 1995. She headed this organization from 2000 to 2005, and in 2006 she took over as secretary-general in the Norwegian Humanist Association after Lars Gule Lars Gule (born 24 June 1955) is a Norwegian philosopher. The Norwegian Humanist Association ( no, Human-Etisk Forbund; HEF) is one of the largest secular humanist associations in the world, with over 130,000 members. Those members constitute 2.3% of the national population of 5.47 million, making HEF by far the largest such association in the world in proportion to population. The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority ( no, Arbeidstilsynet) is a Norwegian government agency under the Ministry of Labour. It is responsible for supervising the implementation of the Working Environment Act, the Annual Holidays Act, the National Holidays Act, and certain sections of the Smoking Act. Lars Gule
Lars Gule (born 24 June 1955) is a Norwegian philosopher. He has graduated with a doctorate in philosophy, and is an associate professor (at Oslo Metropolitan University). From 2000 to 2005 he was secretary general of the Norwegian Humanist Association. Gule became known to the general public in 1977 when after having joined the DFLP group, Gule was arrested in Beirut, Lebanon with explosives in his luggage intended for Israeli targets leading to a six-month conviction and subsequent deportation. He remains active as a pro-Palestine activist. Gule is often used by Norwegian media as an authority on questions regarding the Middle East, Islam and extremism. Anne Lise Ryel
Anne Lise Ryel (born 7 June 1958) is a Norwegian jurist and politician for the Labour Party. Born in Tromsø, she graduated as cand.jur. from the University of Oslo in 1987. In 1994 she became the new Norwegian ombudsman for gender equality, taking over for Ingse Stabel. She held this position until 2000. During the first cabinet Stoltenberg, Ryel was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice. She held the position until the 2001 election, which caused the cabinet to fall. Beate Gangås (born 24 April 1963) is a Norwegian police officer and civil servant. In 2019, she was appointed Oslo Chief of Police. She was born in Asker.
