He is currently affiliated with YSRCP party. Early life Krishnudu was born as Alluri Krishnam Raju in a Kshatriya Raju Zamindari family and brought up in Razole Taluk, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is known for his comedy roles. His grandfather was Alluri Varha Venkata Suryanarayana Raju, Zamindar of Chinchinada. In the 1970s, as a result of the Land Ceiling act introduced by the then Prime Minister of India - Indira Gandhi, Krishnudu's family lost 4,500 acres of land, which was the largest amount of land in Andhra Pradesh. Villagelo Vinayakudu
''Villagelo Vinayakudu'' ( ''Vinayakudu in the Village'') is a 2009 Telugu-language comedy film produced by Mahi V Raghav, written, and directed by Sai Kiran Adivi. The film is a sequel to the 2008 hit, '' Vinayakudu''. Krishnudu reprises his role as Karthik in this film, whilst Saranya Mohan plays the female lead, and Rao Ramesh plays the role of her father. Telugu novel writer Yandamuri Veerendranath makes his acting debut in a small but vital role. The film was released on 5 November 2009 and received positive reviews. ''Vinayakudu'' is a 2008 Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by Sai Kiran Adivi. The film stars Krishnudu and Sonia of ''Happy Days'' fame in the lead roles and Poonam Kaur plays the role of Sonia's friend. The film released on 21 November 2008 to critical and commercial acclaim. The film is about a fat man falling in love with an arrogant woman. The film was partially re-shot in Tamil by Balasekaran as ''Vinayaka'' with extra scenes filmed with Santhanam.
