Kristan "Kris Fade" Fahd (born 27 February 1980, Sydney, Australia) is an Australian-Lebanese radio presenter, host, and musician. He is the star of his own breakfast radio show called "The Kris Fade Show" which airs on 104.4 Virgin Radio Dubai and the KIIS Network in Australia. Career Fade began his radio career at Sydney’s The Edge 96.ONE driving around the street team's car and setting up for local promotions. Fade has won awards for 'Best Radio DJ', 'Best Personality' and is on Ahlan! list for the 'Hot 100 Legends.' Fade has performed at various concerts and events including Dubai Music Week and RedfestDXB. Personal life Fade's parents George and Gilda Fahd are both from Lebanon and have lived in Australia prior to having any children. Fade has two children. ''Gogglebox Australia'' is an Australian reality television program. It is an adaptation of the British series of the same name. The series, which is produced by Shine Australia, is a co-production between subscription television (STV) channel Lifestyle (owned by Foxtel) and free-to-air (FTA) network Network 10. It airs on Lifestyle first, and then airs on Network 10 a day later. Production The concept of ''Gogglebox Australia'' is based on the 2013 British reality show ''Gogglebox'', in which people watch and comment on the week's popular television shows and films in their own homes. Producers chose ten households, featuring "a cross-section of modern Australian society, from larrikins to gays, from migrant families to battlers, yuppies and empty-nesters", to discuss the shows. Virgin Radio launched in the United Kingdom in 1993. In 2008, Virgin Radio UK was sold to TIML, a subsidiary of The Times of India group, and the name was changed to Absolute Radio; the Virgin Radio name was not included in the sale. KIIS Network
The KIIS Network is an Australian commercial radio stations owned and operated by the ARN. Formerly branded as the Mix Network, the network was rebranded as the KIIS Network in 2015 following the relaunch of KIIS 101.1 Melbourne. The KIIS Network is named after KIIS-FM, a Los Angeles-based radio station broadcast on the 102.7 MHz FM band.
