Kris Barras Band
The Kris Barras Band is a British rock band named after its frontman and former MMA fighter Kris Barras. Formed in 2015, the band has released four studio albums. History The band is named after its Torquay-born frontman, musician, and former MMA fighter Kris Barras. Barras grew up influenced by his father, Paul Barras, who was also a musician himself. In August 2014, after competing in 20 professional Muay Thai and MMA fights, Barras retired to concentrate on training other fighters. In early 2015, Barras began writing songs and formed the Kris Barras Band, performing a mixture of southern rock, blues, and country music styles. After releasing a self-titled demo EP in 2015, the band recorded their first full-length album ''Lucky 13'', released on 24 April 2016. The album was self-released and recorded by Barras in his own studio in Torquay, Devon. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Walter Trout (born March 6, 1951 in Ocean City, New Jersey, United States) is an American blues guitarist, singer and songwriter. Biography Trout's career began on the Jersey coast scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s. He then decided to relocate to Los Angeles where he became a sideman for John Lee Hooker, Percy Mayfield, Big Mama Thornton, Joe Tex, and many others. Between 1981 and 1984, he was the lead guitarist in Canned Heat. He toured with them extensively in the US, Europe, and Australia.
