Kreuztal is a town in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Geography Location Kreuztal is a town in the low mountains of the northern Siegerland and lies at the western edge of the Rothaargebirge about 10 km north of Siegen. Across the municipal area from the east flows the Ferndorfbach, swinging to the south in the inner town and leaving the municipal area through the constituent community of Buschhütten. In the northern municipal area rises the Littfe, which then runs through the constituent communities of Burgholdinghausen, Littfeld, Krombach, Eichen and Fellinghausen before emptying into the Ferndorfbach in the inner town. Kredenbach is a constituent community of Kreuztal, Siegen-Wittgenstein, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has a population of 1649 inhabitants. History Kredenbach was created from the two constituent communities ''Lohe'' and ''Kredenbach'' and the ''Wüstehof''. Kredenbach and the Wüstehof belonged formally to the Kirchspiel Netphen and from 1623 they belong to Ferndorf. Through municipal reform on 1 January 1969 it was incorporated in Kreuztal. Hilchenbach () is a town in the Siegen-Wittgenstein '' Kreis'' (district) of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Geography Location Hilchenbach is about northeast of Siegen. Wenden is a municipality in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It belongs to the Olpe district in the Sauerland. It lies south of Olpe and northwest of Siegen. Geography Location Wenden lies at the southernmost tip of the Sauerland, an area of low mountain ranges. The Bigge and its tributaries, which feed into Biggesee, rise near Wenden. Kirchhundem is a German community in North Rhine-Westphalia. It belongs to the Olpe district. Geography Location The community of Kirchhundem lies in the Olpe district's southeast in the south Sauerland and belongs to the so-called ''Bilsteiner Bergland'' (mountain region). The Kirchhundem rural areas also include, in the east, the West (''Rüsper'') Rothaar and part of the ''Auer Ederbergland'', in the south the ''Brachthäuser Hohe Waldberge'' (all mountain ranges), in the west the ''Rahrbacher Mulde'' (basin) and in the north the ''Hundemgrund''. Olpe is a town situated in the foothills of the Ebbegebirge in North Rhine-Westphalia, roughly 60 km east of Cologne and 20 km northwest of Siegen. Rothaargebirge
The Rothaar Mountains (german: Rothaargebirge, , also ''Rotlagergebirge''), or Rothaar, is a low mountain range reaching heights of up to 843.1 m in North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse, Germany. It is believed that its name must once have been ''Rod-Hard-Gebirge'', or "the cleared forest mountain range", as the range has nothing whatsoever to do with the colour red (''rot'' in German), nor with hair (''Haar'').
