Johannes Oerding
Johannes Oerding (born 26 December 1981) is a German singer-songwriter. Early life Oerding was born in Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia and raised in Geldern-Kapellen near the border of the Netherlands. His father is a country doctor, while his mother is a nurse. Oerding has two brothers and two sisters. Oerding was discovered in 1999, when he performed at a local block party in Iserlohn. Later, he moved to the Netherlands to earn a diploma in International Marketing at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Venlo. In 2006, he relocated to Hamburg to pursue a professional music career. There, he met singer-songwriter Michy Reincke, his neighbor at his new home in Barmbek-Süd, who garnered Oerding his first gigs. ''Konturen'' ( ''Contours'') is the sixth studio album by German singer-songwriter Johannes Oerding. It was released through Columbia Records on 8 November 2019. It debuted atop the German Albums Chart, becoming Oerding's first number-one album in Germany. It was supported by the single "An guten Tagen". Background Oerding named the album ''Konturen'' (''Contours'') after a line in the song "Alles okay": "Und dieser Dreck auf meiner Haut ist mir endlich so vertraut. Denn diese Spuren und Konturen machen mich aus" ("And this dirt on my skin is finally so familiar to me, because these traces and contours make me"). Oerding said that with his sixth album, he wanted to find his own "profile more and more". Oerding recorded "Ich hab dich nicht mehr zu verlieren" with singer Ina Müller, his girlfriend of 10 years. Samy Sorge (born 19 December 1977), commonly known as Samy Deluxe, Wickeda MC or Sam Semillia, is a German rapper and record producer from Hamburg. Early life Samy was two years old when his Sudanese father left Germany. Samy grew up with his mother's family. His half-sister was born shortly after his father left. The family lived in Barmbek for many years, then moved to Eppendorf, a better-off part of Hamburg. His family was able to make this move after a recommendation from a family friend after his mother remarried. The GfK Entertainment charts are the official music charts in Germany and are gathered and published by GfK Entertainment (formerly Media Control and Media Control GfK International), a subsidiary of GfK, on behalf of Bundesverband Musikindustrie.
