Alec Brook-Krasny
Alec Brook-Krasny (born March 2, 1958) is an American politician serving in the New York State Assembly representing the 46th district. He was a member of the Democratic Party, and was elected on November 7, 2006, to represent the 46th District, which covers the neighborhoods of Bath Beach, Bay Ridge, Brighton Beach, Coney Island, Dyker Heights, and Seagate, in Brooklyn. He resigned on July 7, 2015. Brook-Krasny was arrested on charges of felony healthcare fraud in 2017, but was not convicted. In 2022, Brook-Krasny announced that he was joining the Republican party and running for the State Assembly once again. He was elected and is again a member of the Assembly. Dmitriy Yurievich Krasny ( rus, Дмитрий Юрьевич Красный), (died September 22, 1440) was a Russian nobleman, the youngest son of Yury of Zvenigorod and Anastasia of Smolensk, and grandson of Dmitry Donskoy. He was the appanage prince of Galich-Mersky and took part in the Great Feudal War. The strange circumstances of his death are described in chronicles with many details and cause speculation about possible poisoning. Elke Krasny (born 1965 in Vienna, Austria) is a cultural and architectural theorist, urban researcher, curator, and author. Her work specializes in architecture, contemporary art, urbanism, feminist museology, histories and theories of curating, critical historiographies of feminism, politics of remembrance, and their intersections. Sasha Krasny (russian: Саша Красный, literally ''Alexander the Red'') was the pen-name of Aleksandr Davydovich Bryansky (russian: Александр Давыдович Брянский; – 2 March 1995), a Russian poet and songwriter. His first book was published in Odessa in 1912 and the last in 1993. His son Boris Bryansky (1928–1972) was also a poet and songwriter. Biography Bryansky said he was born in 1882 in Sevastopol, into a Jewish family. After graduating from Grekov Odessa Art school which he entered in 1908, Bryansky performed on stage under the pseudonym of Sasha Krasny.
