Krasnodar Rora
Krasnodar Rora (23 March 1945 – 12 November 2020) was a Croatian professional football player and manager. Club career Rising through the ranks at Šibenik, Rora rose to prominence as a key player of the local powerhouse Dinamo Zagreb in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and was part of the club's golden generation which won the 1967 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, the team's first and only European silverware. After turning 28, the minimum legal age for Yugoslav players to move abroad, he played for Standard Liège in Belgium under fellow Yugoslavs Vlatko Marković and Nedeljko Bulatović, before moving on to France in 1975 where he spent two seasons at AS Nancy alongside the young Michel Platini under coach Antoine Redin. Vis (town)
Vis ( it, Lissa) is a town on the eponymous island in the Adriatic Sea in southern Croatia. Its population was 1,934 as of 2011. The town is the seat of the eponymous Vis municipality, one of the island's two municipalities (the other being Komiža). Both belong administratively to Split-Dalmatia County. Association Sportive Nancy Lorraine (), commonly known as AS Nancy Lorraine, or simply Nancy, is a French association football club founded in 1967 in Nancy, Grand Est and located in Tomblaine, in the inner suburbs of Nancy. ''Sportske novosti'' () is a Croatian daily sports newspaper based in Zagreb. It was established on 9 August 1945 as ''Ilustrirane fiskulturne novine'' weekly newspaper. Several months later, on 10 December 1945, its name got changed to ''Narodni sport''. From March 1949, its publishing frequency increased to twice a week, and from 1951 to three times per week. In 1962 it was acquired by the ''Vjesnik'' publishing company. Its name was changed to ''Sportske novosti'' on 1 March 1962 and from then on it was published five times per week. Branislav "Branko" Zebec (17 May 1929 – 26 September 1988) was a Croatian footballer and manager who played for Yugoslavia. In his heyday, Zebec fascinated the world with his performances at the World Cups in 1954 and 1958. With Partizan he won 3 Yugoslav Cups (1952, 1954, 1957). With Red Star Belgrade he won the national championship in 1960. As coach he led Hajduk Split, Bayern Munich and Hamburger SV to success. A highly versatile player noted for his physical abilities and understanding of the game, Zebec was world-class whether on the left wing or in the more defensive role of left fullback, although he was capable of playing almost every outfield position on the pitch. A total of 75 teams entered the 1970 FIFA World Cup qualification rounds, competing for a total of 16 spots in the final tournament. UEFA Euro 1968
The 1968 UEFA European Football Championship final tournament was held in Italy. This was the third UEFA European Championship, an event held every four years and organised by UEFA. The final tournament took place between 5 and 10 June 1968. It was in this year that the tournament changed its name from the "European Nations' Cup" to the "European Championship". There were also some changes in the tournament's qualifying structure, with the two-legged home-and-away knock-out stage being replaced by a group phase. Slaven Zambata
Slaven Zambata (24 September 1940 – 29 October 2020) was a Croatian professional football player best known for his time at Dinamo Zagreb in the 1960s, for whom he appeared in 171 Yugoslav First League matches. He was also a Yugoslav international, scoring 21 goals in 31 matches for the national side. Career Zambata started playing football at his hometown club Junak Sinj and was signed by Dinamo Zagreb in 1959, at the age of eighteen. He stayed with the Croatian powerhouse until 1969, and during this time earned a total of 393 appearances and scored 267 goals (93 of which in the Yugoslav First League). Mladen Ramljak
Mladen Ramljak (1 July 1945 – 13 September 1978) was a Croatian football defender. Club career Ramljak left Dinamo Zagreb for Dutch side Feyenoord after playing over 600 games for the club. He moved to AZ '67 after three seasons in Rotterdam, but never played for AZ as his career got cut short due to injury. International career He made his debut for Yugoslavia in a May 1966 friendly match against Hungary and earned a total of 13 caps, scoring no goals. He was a participant at Euro 1968 and his final international was a May 1972 European Championship qualification match away against the Soviet Union. Rudolf Belin
Rudolf Belin (born 4 November 1942) is a Croatian retired football manager and player. Club career Belin started his career with Dinamo Zagreb in 1960, where he won the Yugoslav Cup three times and the 1967 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, beating the English side Leeds United and went on to make 410 appearances for the club until 1970, when he moved to Beerschot VAC in Belgium and he spent two years. He was voted Croatia's 36th footballer of the century in 2000 chosen by ''Večernji List''.
