Adrijana Krasniqi
Adrijana Krasniqi (born 4 November 1997), better known as Adrijana, is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and rapper of Albanians in North Macedonia, Macedonian Albanian origin. She is best known for competing in ''Melodifestivalen 2017''. In 2015, Krasniqi released her first official single "Mammas Opel", and then in October 2016, she signed with record label Universal Music Group, Universal Music Sweden. Later the same year she got to perform at the hip hop stage Debaser in Stockholm. In 2017, she competed in ''Melodifestivalen 2017'', the Swedish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, with the song "Amare (Adrijana song), Amare", which she wrote together with Martin Tjärnberg. Liridon Krasniqi (born 1 January 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Malaysia Super League club Johor Darul Ta'zim. Born in Kosovo, he represents the Malaysia national team. Krasniqi made his senior debut with Mladá Boleslav in 2011 before signing for Turkish club Ankaraspor two years later. He did not make any appearances for the team, and was loaned to the TFF First League side Fethiyespor for the 2013–14 season. In 2015, Krasniqi joined Malaysian side Kedah, winning the 2016 Malaysia Cup and 2017 Malaysia FA Cup during his four-year spell with the club. Rexhep Krasniqi (24 April 1906 – 12 February 1999) was an Albanian-American historian, teacher, nationalist, and anti-communist politician and activist. A Kosovar Albanian, he is remembered for his role in the Second League of Prizren, and long time leadership of the "Free Albania" National Committee. Krasniqi was born in Gjakova on 24 April 1906. He remained an orphan at a very young age and was raised in Bajram Curri's family. As a close acquaintance of the Curri, he was given a scholarship from the Albanian government and sent to study in Austria in 1921. There he studied in Graz and later in the Theresianum of Vienna. He would remain there until his graduation from the University of Vienna in history. Mazhar Shukri Krasniqi (1931–2019) was a New Zealand Muslim and Albanian community leader of Kosovar Albanian descent, businessman and human rights activist. He was both the first president of the New Zealand Albanian Civic League and Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand (FIANZ). Matej Krasniqi (1763 - 1827 or 1829 ), also referred as Matteo Granisch or Matthaeus Crasnich, was an Albanian Catholic cleric, who served as Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Skopje from 8 March 1816 to 1829. Mark Krasniqi (9 October 1920 – 28 August 2015) was an Kosovar Albanian ethnographist, publicist, writer and translator who did most of his work while residing in Yugoslavia. Biography He was born on 19 October 1920 in near Peć, in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. He finished elementary school in Peć in the Serbian language and due to his Catholic background attended the Catholic high school in Prizren, being one of few Albanians among mostly Croatians and Slovenes, finishing in 1941. After high school, he studied literature at the University of Padova, Italy and after World War II he studied geography and ethnography at the University of Belgrade.
