Kraków University Of Economics
Krakow University of Economics (Polish: ''Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie'', UEK) is one of the five Polish public economics universities. CUE came into existence in 1925. It is the biggest university of economic sciences in Poland. Kraków University of Economics is one of the three largest universities in Kraków, after Jagiellonian University and the AGH University of Science and Technology. Habilitation
Habilitation is the highest university degree, or the procedure by which it is achieved, in many European countries. The candidate fulfills a university's set criteria of excellence in research, teaching and further education, usually including a dissertation. The degree, abbreviated "Dr. habil." Aleksander Surdej (born 1961) is a Polish economist and scientist who since 2023 serves as an Ambassador to Vietnam; previously he was permanent representative to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (2016–2023). His research interests focus on the methodology of policy analysis, labour market policies and policies of social regulations. Jacek Purchla (born 1954 in Kraków) – Polish Art Historian and Economist, Professor of Humanities, founder and director of the International Cultural Centre in Kraków. He specialises in urban development, social history and art history of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as the theory and protection of cultural heritage. Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (CEEPUS) is the short form for Central European Exchange Program for University Studies and is a multilateral University exchange program in the extended Danube region based on an international Agreement. There are 15+ members states who joint the current CEEPUS III agreement at the moment, each member state has a National CEEPUS Office. 1.
