Koyunbaba (or Seyit Ali) was a saint who lived in the city of Osmancık in Çorum Province, Turkey, in the 15th century. Koyunbaba Bridge
Koyunbaba Bridge ( tr, Koyunbaba Köprüsü) is a stone arch bridge crossing the Kızılırmak River in Çorum Province, Turkey. It was built between 1484 and 1489 and is the longest stone arch bridge built in Anatolia during Ottoman rule. History Koyunbaba Bridge is located at the center of Osmancık district in Çorum Province, northern Turkey. It was built between 1484 and 1489 during the reign of Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II (r. 1481–1512). The -long and -wide bridge was constructed in ashlar. It spans the Kızılırmak River with 19 pointed arches, of which today only 15 arches are visible due to sedimentation on the river bank. It is the longest stone arch bridge built in Anatolia during the Ottoman Empire era. The bridge is named after the 15th-century local Turkish saint Koyunbaba. Carlo Domeniconi (born 20 February 1947)Summerfield 2003. is an Italian guitarist and composer. Although his compositions include a wide variety of genres and instrumentation choices, he is best known for his works for solo guitar, and particularly the ''Koyunbaba'' suite. Domeniconi's style is characterized by his adoption of multicultural influences. His works explore and borrow from a wide variety of national traditions, including Turkish, Indian, Brazilian, and many more. Biography Domeniconi was born in Cesena, Italy. He received his first formal guitar lessons in 1960 from Carmen Lenzi Mozzani, granddaughter of the famous guitarist and luthier Luigi Mozzani. Making rapid progress, he won first prizes at the Ancona International Festival of Guitar in 1960 and 1962. Osmancık
Osmancık is a district of Çorum Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey, located 59 km north of the city of Çorum. Çorum Province
