Kouassi Kouamé Patrice
Kouassi Kouamé Patrice (b. December 2, 1962 in Daloa) aka KKP, ( baoulé first name), is an Ivorian lawyer and politician. In December 2016, he became Deputy for Yamoussoukro Commune in the National Assembly of National Assembly of Ivory Coast. He became a member of the Yamoussoukro Municipal Council in October 2018 and deputy mayor in December 2018. Early life He earned a Baccalaureate on "Literature and Philosophy" at the Lycée Classique d’Abidjan in 1984. He attended the University of Benin to study law. He earned his Master of Law option on Judicial Careers, then the Certificate of Aptitude to the Profession of Lawyer (CAPA), at the Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny in 1993. Career He began his career in 1993 in the office of Maître René Bourgoin as a trainee lawyer, then in 1995 as associate lawyer. National Assembly (Ivory Coast)
The National Assembly is lower house of the Parliament of Ivory Coast since November 2016. From 1960 to 2016, the National Assembly was Ivory Coast's unicameral legislative body. Evolved from semi-representative bodies of the French Colonial period, the first National Assembly was constituted on 27 November 1960 with 70 elected members (''députés'') in accordance with the Constitution of 31 October 1960, which created the First Republic. Yamoussoukro
Yamoussoukro (; , locally ) is the ''de jure'' capital of Ivory Coast and an autonomous district. As of the 2014 census, Yamoussoukro is the fifth most populous city in Ivory Coast with a population of 212,670. Located north-west of Abidjan, the district of Yamoussoukro covers among rolling hills and plains. Yamoussoukro became the legal capital of the Ivory Coast in 1983, although the former capital Abidjan retains several political functions. Daloa
Daloa is a city in western Ivory Coast. It is the seat of both the Sassandra-Marahoué District and the Haut-Sassandra Region. It is also the seat of and a sub-prefectures of Ivory Coast, sub-prefecture of Daloa Department. Daloa is also a Communes of Ivory Coast, commune. Baoulé Language
Baoulé, also known as Baule or Bawule, is a language spoken in central and southern Ivory Coast, including in the regions of Lacs, Lagunes, Gôh-Djiboua, Sassandra-Marahoué, Vallée du Bandama, Woroba, and Yamoussoukro, by approximately 4.7 million people. It is a Kwa language of the Central Tano branch, forming a dialect continuum with Anyin and closely related to Nzema and Sehwi. It is the common language of the Baoulé people, the largest ethnic group in Ivory Coast. The National Order of the Ivory Coast (sometimes simply mentioned as National Order) is the highest state order of knighthood of the Ivory Coast. Abla Pokou
Queen Pokou, or Awura, Aura, or Abla Pokou (reigned c. 1750 - c. 1760) was Queen and founder of the Baoule ethnic group in West Africa, now Ivory Coast. She ruled over a branch of the powerful Ashanti Empire as it expanded westward. A subgroup of the Akan people, the Baoule people are today one of the largest ethnic groups in modern Ivory Coast.
