Shri Kota Shrinivas Poojari is an Indian Bharatiya Janata Party politician hailing from Kota, Karnataka. He is currently serving as the Minister of Social Welfare Department and Backward Classes Welfare Department of Karnataka. He is also the Leader of the House, Karnataka Legislative Council and the COVID-19 Management District in-charge Minister for Kodagu. He has been appointed the BJP National Executive Committee member from 7 October 2021. He has handled several crucial posts in Karnataka politics. The Karnataka Legislative Council is the upper house of the bicameral legislature of Karnataka state in South Western India. Udupi
Udupi (alternate spelling Udipi; also known as Odipu) is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka. Udupi is situated about north of the educational, commercial and industrial hub of Mangalore and about west of state capital Bangalore by road. Jayamala (born 28 February 1955) is an Indian actress and politician. She served as the Minister for Women and Child Development and Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens in the Government of Karnataka, by virtue of being a member of the Karnataka Legislative Council. Blasius D'Souza
Blasius M. D'Souza (22 February 1938 – 26 January 2008) was an Indian politician from Mangalore. A member of the Indian National Congress from Mangalore, he was the first Roman Catholic minister in the Karnataka state government. Biography Blasius D'Souza was the son of AR D'Souza, a prominent businessman in Mangalore. He studied at St. Aloysius College, Mangalore, from where he graduated with a B.Com. degree in 1959.
