Kota (Transjakarta)
Kota is a TransJakarta BRT Station located at the Old City of Batavia (Kota Tua Jakarta) in Pinangsia, Taman Sari, West Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. The station, which is the terminus of Corridor 1, is the transit point for Corridor 12. The name of this bus stop comes from the name Kota Tua Jakarta and Jakarta Kota railway station, which are located adjacent to the BRT Station. Regarding with the revitalization of the Jakarta Kota station yard, this BRT Station was rebuilt in a new location which is to the north of Jakarta Kota Station. The move to the new location was carried out on July 22, 2022, so that the original location which was located on the west of Jakarta Kota Station did not serve passengers anymore. This arrangement was carried out in the framework of integrating this bus stop with the Kota MRT station which is being built. TransJakarta (stylised as transjakarta, often erroneously called Busway) is a bus rapid transit (BRT) system in Jakarta, Indonesia. The first BRT system in Southeast Asia, it commenced operations on 15 January 2004 to provide a fast public transport system to help reduce rush hour traffic. The system is considered as the first revolutionary public transit mode in the capital city of Indonesia. The buses run in dedicated lanes (busways), and ticket prices are subsidised by the regional government. Taman Sari is a district of West Jakarta, Indonesia. It is the smallest subdistrict of West Jakarta (4.37 km2). It is bounded by Central Jakarta to the south and to the east, and by Pademangan in North Jakarta to the north. Taman Sari district contains the southeastern area of Jakarta Old Town, the area on the east side of Kali Besar Canal. The Old Town formed Batavia (the old name for Jakarta) during the 17th century. Bank Indonesia Museum (Indonesian ''Museum Bank Indonesia'') is a bank museum located in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was founded by Bank Indonesia and opened on 21 July 2009. KA Commuter line Jakarta Kota–Tanjung Priok, or the Tanjung Priok line, is a commuter rail line in Indonesia, operated by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia. The Bogor Line, also known as KRL Commuter Line Jakarta Kota–Bogor/Nambo is a commuter rail line in Indonesia, operated by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI). Jak Lingko (formerly OK OTrip) is a public transport integration program designed to integrate payment and physical connection between transport modes in Jakarta.
