Korean President's Cup
The President's Cup National Football Tournament is a football competition, held by Korea Football Association, for South Korean semi-professional and amateur football clubs. This competition was originally one of major club competitions of South Korean football with Korean National Football Championship, but its status was undermined after the professional clubs appeared in South Korea according to the foundation of K League, the South Korean professional league. The tournament is usually held during the early months of the year, typically ending in March. The Korea Football Association () is the governing body of football and futsal within South Korea. It sanctions professional, semi-professional and amateur football in South Korea. Founded in 1933, the governing body became affiliated with FIFA twenty years later in 1948, and the Asian Football Confederation in 1954. Busan IPark ( ko, 부산 아이파크) is a South Korean professional football club based in Busan that competes in K League 2, the second tier of the South Korean football pyramid. Its current home ground is Busan Gudeok Stadium. The club was one of the original five founding members of the K League and continuously competed in the first division from 1983 to 2015, when they were relegated for the first time. Chung Hae-won (, 1 July 1959 – 1 May 2020) was a South Korean football player and coach. International career After winning the 1978 AFC Youth Championship as a member of the national under-20 team, Chung played as a left winger or a striker for senior national team. He scored two crucial goals to give South Korea a 2–1 win over North Korea in the semi-finals of the 1980 AFC Asian Cup, sending his team to the final. Chung was selected for the national team for the 1988 Summer Olympics. However, he was injured during the first match against Soviet Union, and had to finish his competition early. Huh Jung-moo
Huh Jung-moo (Korean: 허정무, Hanja: 許丁茂; born 13 January 1955) is a former South Korean football player and manager. Playing career Huh was one of the best South Korean college footballers before starting his semi-professional career. He was often compared with Korea University's Cha Bum-kun while playing for Yonsei University. After his graduation, he joined Korea Electric Power FC, and simultaneously enlisted in Marine Corps and Navy FC to do mandatory military service. When Huh was discharged from the military service, European clubs were interested in Asian players due to Cha Bum-kun's performance in the Bundesliga. Park Sung-hwa
Park Sung-hwa (Hangul: 박성화; born 7 May 1955) is a South Korean football manager and a former football player. He is a gold medalist in the 1978 Asian Games. Managerial career After his playing career, Park managed Yukong Elephants and Pohang Steelers in the K League. He led Pohang to two consecutive titles in the Asian Club Championship. Park also managed South Korean national youth teams in 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship, 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship, and 2008 Summer Olympics. Park was the head coach of Myanmar and Myanmar under-23s, until his dismissal on 16 December 2013, two weeks before his contract ran out. Kim Jin-kook (; born on 14 September 1951) is a former South Korean footballer.
