Korean Magazine Museum
The Korean Magazine Museum is a museum in the district of Yeouido in Seoul, South Korea. It was established on March 21, 2002, to promote Korean magazines in the competitive global arena. The museum consists of three underground floors and seven upperground floors for a total floor space of 1703 '' pyeong'' (app. 5,623 m2). Admission is free with opening hours from Monday to Saturday (10:00-18:00). The museum is closed on Sundays and national holidays. Yeouido Station
Yeouido Station is a subway station on Line 5 and Line 9 of the Seoul Subway system. It is one of the stations that serve the eponymous island of Yeouido, one of Seoul's financial hubs. The large Yeouido Park is close to this station. A new subway line starting from Yeouido broke ground in December 2011 heading south. In 2023, the new subway line will be extended to Ansan in southwest Gyeonggi Province. Travel time from Yeouido to Ansan is expected to take only around 30 minutes. Seoul Subway Line 5 of the Seoul Metro, dubbed ''the purple line'', is a long line crossing from west to the east across the Seoul National Capital Area, South Korea. It is one of two subway lines in Seoul to cross ''under'' the Han River (the other being the Suin-Bundang Line), which is done at two points (between Mapo and Yeouinaru, and also between Gwangnaru and Cheonho). The Seoul Metropolitan Subway () is a urban rail transit, metropolitan railway system consisting of 23 rapid transit, Medium-capacity rail transport system, light metro, commuter rail and people mover lines located in northwest South Korea.
