Korbin Sims (born 2 January 1992) is a Fiji international rugby league footballer who last played as a and forward for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League. He previously played for the Newcastle Knights, Brisbane Broncos and the St. George Illawarra Dragons in the NRL. Background Sims was born in Gerringong, New South Wales, Australia, and is of Fijian descent. Sims is the younger brother of St. George Illawarra Dragons player Tariq Sims and former player Ashton Sims. His elder sister Ruan Sims played for the Australian women's team in 2010 and 2015. Gerringong () is a town located about ten minutes drive south of Kiama, and about twenty minutes north of Nowra in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia in the Municipality of Kiama. Isaac Liu (born 26 April 1991) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a and forward for the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League (NRL). He is both a Samoan and New Zealand international. He has previously played for the Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League and won back-to-back NRL premierships with that club in 2018 and 2019. The Pacific Rugby League International is a rugby league test match that has been played between two Pacific Island nations during the National Rugby League's annual representative weekend since 2013. The fixture was held at Penrith Stadium for the 2013 and 2014 test matches. In 2015, two fixtures were held; Samoa and Tonga competed for the Polynesian Cup while Fiji and Papua New Guinea competed for the Melanesian Cup at Cbus Super Stadium. In 2016 the fixtures returned to New South Wales and were held at Parramatta's Pirtek Stadium. In August 2015, the NRL announced a new $925 million (Australian) TV deal. Spotland Stadium, known as the Crown Oil Arena for sponsorship reasons, in the Spotland area of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, is home to Rochdale A.F.C. and Rochdale Hornets R.F.L.C. and has a capacity of 10,249. History Spotland was originally known as St Clement's Playing Fields, after the nearby St Clement's Church. The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. 2013 NRL Season
The 2013 NRL season was the 106th season of professional rugby league club competition in Australia. The National Rugby League's main competition, named the 2013 Telstra Premiership after major sponsors Telstra Corporation, was contested by sixteen teams during the regular season, which lasted from March to September, and resulted in the top eight finishing teams, who went on to contest the finals. The season culminated in the Grand Final, in which the Sydney Roosters defeated the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles 26-18 to win their first NRL premiership since 2002.
