Erkin Koray (; born 24 June 1941) is a Turkish musician, electro-baglama player, and active in Anatolian rock. Career Koray has been in the Turkish folk music scene since the late 1950s. In 1957, he and his band began playing covers of Elvis Presley and Fats Domino. In 1967, he released his first psychedelic single "Anma Arkadaş". Koray followed this with a number of singles, both by himself and in collaboration with others. In the early 1970s, he formed the group ''Ter'' ("Sweat"), with former members of the band '' Bunalım'' (Group Depression). They only recorded one single, "Hor Görme Garibi", before breaking up. In 1973, his first album, ''Erkin Koray'', was released, with singles from 1967 to 1973. He left Istanbul Records after the release of the album and, in 1974, signed with Doglan Records, which released his ''dabke'' single "Şaşkın". Koray Günter (, ; born 16 August 1994) is a Turkish-German professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Italian club Sampdoria on loan from Hellas Verona. Koray Candemir (born 7 August 1975) is a Turkish musician, songwriter, and record producer. He used to be the lead singer of the Turkish rock band Kargo. Towards the end of 2008, Koray Candemir and Serkan Celikoz, has decided to end their involvement with Kargo, due to vision and opinion differences with the other members of Kargo. They have formed their new band which is named 'maSKott'. They are currently in Seattle working on their new projects and released their debut album in 2010. Koray Avcı (born 1 January 1990) is a Turkish singer. Life and career Koray Avcı was born in Ankara to a family that were originally from Tercan. His father died in 2021 from heart and kidney failure. In 2008, he was enrolled in Muğla University School of Arts and Sciences to study physics. Koray Aydın (born 5 December 1955) is a Turkish politician who has served as the Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly since 9 July 2015. He previously served as the Minister of Public Works and Housing during the 57th government of Turkey led by Prime Minister Bülent Ecevit. As a politician from the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), he served as the party's General Secretary. Koray Ariş (born in 1944) is a Turkish sculptor. He graduated from Şadi Çalıks atelier at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts. He is known for his abstract sculptures made from metal, wood, leather and other materials which have earned a special place in Turkish sculpture. Biography Ariş was born in 1944 in Adana, Turkey. He graduated from the atelier of Şadi Çalık at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts sculpture department. Between 1969 and 1971 he worked in the sculpture atelier of Emilio Greco of the Rome University of Fine Arts.
