Kora Kagaz
''Kora Kagaz'' ( translation: Blank Paper) is a 1974 Indian Hindi-language drama film produced by Sanath Kothari and directed by Anil Ganguly. The film stars Vijay Anand, Jaya Bhaduri, A.K. Hangal, Achala Sachdev and Deven Verma. The film's music is by Kalyanji Anandji. The famous title song "Mera Jeevan Kora Kagaz" (loosely translated as: "My life is a blank paper") was rendered by Kishore Kumar. At the 22nd National Film Awards, it won the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, while Lata Mangeshkar won the award for Best Female Playback Singer. Anil Ganguly
Anil Ganguly (26 January 1933 – 15 January 2016) was an Indian film director and screenwriter, who worked in Hindi cinema from 1970s to 2001. He is best known for Jaya Bhaduri starrer, ''Kora Kagaz'' (1974) and the Rakhee Gulzar, Rakhee starrer ''Tapasya (1976 film), Tapasya'' (1975), both of which won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. He is also known for his films with Rakhee like Trishna (1978 film), Trishna, Aanchal (1980 film), Aanchal, Saaheb (1985). Later in his career, after 1986 he made seven films none of which succeeded. Career Ganguly started his career making literary adaptations with strong female roles and themes of marital discord. For his second film ''Kora Kagaz'' his adapted Ashutosh Mukhopadhyay's story "Saat Paake Bandha", previously adapted into a Bengali film by the same name. Sulochana Latkar (born 30 July 1928) known by her screen name Sulochana, is a well-known actress of Marathi and Hindi cinema and has acted in 50 films in Marathi and around 250 films in Hindi.
