Koos Waslander (born 3 February 1957) is a Dutch football coach and former player. He was most recently head coach of Dutch Tweede Klasse club RBC. Career Born in Rotterdam, Waslander played in the Netherlands and the United States for Excelsior, Fort Lauderdale Strikers, NAC Breda, PEC Zwolle and DS'79. Waslander holds the record for the quickest goal in the Eredivisie, scoring after eight seconds. With the Fort Lauderdale Strikers he was a Soccer Bowl '80 runner up. In the final, won 3-0 by New York Cosmos in September 1980, he entered the match as a substitute five minutes before half-time for the injured German striker Gerd Müller. Koos Vorrink
Jacobus Jan Vorrink, better known as Koos Vorrink (7 June 1891 – 19 July 1955), was a socialist leader in the Netherlands. Early life Koos Vorrink was born on 7 June 1891 in Vlaardingen, in the Dutch province of South Holland. He started his career as a schoolteacher. On 1 November 1920 he became secretary of the Arbeiders Jeugd Organisatie (AJC), the Dutch socialist youth movement. On 11 May 1924 he became chairman of the socialist youth movement. On 13 July 1916 he married Irene Hendrika Bergmeijer. Together they had two daughters. Only one daughter survived, Irene Vorrink (7 January 1918 - 21 August 1996), who would become minister of Health in the cabinet Den Uyl (1973–1977). Jacobus Hercules "Koos" van der Merwe (born 4 August 1937) is a South African former politician. He was a member of the South African Parliament, representing the National Party, Conservative Party and the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP). He was a member of the House of Assembly and later the South African National Assembly between 1977 and 2014, being the longest serving member of Parliament at the time of his retirement. Jacobus Gideon Nel Strauss, known as Koos Strauss, Kosie Strauss or J. G. N. Strauss (17 December 19007 March 1990), was a South African politician who was the leader of the South African United Party from 1950 to 1956. Koos Ras (Jacobus Adriaan Gerhardus) was born on 4 August 1928, on a farm named Paardekop in Northern Natal Province in South Africa.
