Konosuba
is a Japanese light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki. The series follows Kazuma Sato, a boy who is sent to a fantasy world with MMORPG elements following his death, where he forms a dysfunctional adventuring party with a goddess, an archwizard, and a crusader. Originally serialized as a web novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō between December 2012 and October 2013, ''KonoSuba'' was published as a printed light novel series by Kadokawa Shoten under the company's ''Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko'' imprint from October 2013 to May 2020. The light novel series features a divergent plot and illustrations by Kurone Mishima. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Masahito Watari and Joseph Yokobori, began serialization in Fujimi Shobo's ''Monthly Dragon Age'' magazine from October 2014. Megumin
is a fictional character from the light novel, manga, and anime series ''KonoSuba'' written by Natsume Akatsuki. In the universe of ''Konosuba'', a parallel world with MMORPG elements, Megumin is a sorcerer who joins protagonist Kazuma Sato's party in an attempt to defeat the Devil King. Due to the party's dysfunctional abilities, Kazuma quickly gives up on the idea of defeating the Devil King and tries to live a comfortable lifestyle, only to find the circumstances of his daily life force him and his party to encounter and battle the Devil King's generals. Natsume Akatsuki (暁なつめ, ''Akatsuki Natsume'') is a Japanese light novel author and manga writer from Echizen, Fukui Prefecture, Japan. He is best known for writing the ''KonoSuba'' series. Career In 2012, Akatsuki entered his debut work for the 8th MF Bunko J Light Novel Rookie Award under the pen name . However, it only made it to the second round. After that, he began posting his writing to the user-generated novel website Shōsetsuka ni Narō under the same name. Kazuma Sato
is the main protagonist of the light novel, manga and anime series ''KonoSuba''. He is voiced by Jun Fukushima in Japan and by Arnie Pantoja in English-speaking regions. He was a shut-in NEET until being sent to a parallel world and became the leader of a new party. Initially shown to be cynical and sarcastic, he can show selflessness and compassion towards his friends and competence as a leader. is a Japanese genre of speculative fiction—both portal fantasy and science fiction are included. It includes novels, light novels, films, manga, anime and video games that revolve around a person or people who are transported to and have to survive in another world, such as a fantasy world, virtual world, or Parallel universes in fiction, parallel universe. Isekai is one of the most popular genres of anime, and Isekai stories share many common tropes – for example, a powerful protagonist who is able to beat most people in the other world by fighting.
